PEGGY HIBBERT ENLIGHTENMENT SERIES - THURSDAY, MARCH 19TH, 2026
REGISTRATION OPENS IN FEBRUARY
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
I got my master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2009 and started my career working in general pediatrics before specializing. I have specialized in working with neurodiverse children for over 13 years, with continued education and mentoring in sensory integration and other developmental conditions.
I have trained extensively in sensory integration assessment and treatment methods including STEPPSI and the SPIRIT model, polyvagal training including the Safe and Sound Protocol, trauma-informed practice, Therapeutic Listening, iLs Listening Therapy, the Get Permission Approach to feeding, SOS feeding therapy, DIR/Floortime, and many others.
I have had the honor of receiving mentorship from leaders in the field, as well as the privilege of being a mentor to young therapists. I am a lifelong student (aka a giant nerd!) and am always excited to deepen my knowledge, learn new research findings, and hone the scientific art of being a therapist every day. I love getting to spend my days playing and laughing with children. I am the clinical manager at Pediatric Possibilities with a wonderful team of other therapists.

The Peggy Hibbert Enlightenment Speaker Series is a series of educational events created in honor of Dr. Peggy Hibbert. Peggy Hibbert was devoted to the mission of supporting families with young children. Her passion for early education and early intervention is reflected in her many years of involvement at Project Enlightenment as a parent, a doctoral student intern, and eventually as the staff coordinator of the Demonstration Preschool. Her vision and willingness to step forward as the first volunteer President led to the creation of the Project Enlightenment Foundation. She helped establish the first Board of Directors for the Foundation and set forth the goals and mission of the Foundation. Donations made in her memory help us continue her mission of education through the Peggy Hibbert Enlightenment Speaker Series.
