Founded in 2006, Project Enlightenment Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a volunteer working Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. Our mission is to strengthen and expand the work of Project Enlightenment, an early childhood program that promotes school success for Wake County's young children by educating children, teachers, and parents. Project Enlightenment is an early childhood education and prevention program of the Wake County Public School System for young children birth through kindergarten. They have been serving Wake County families for over 50 years.
